Cancellation Policy
At Mirage Music Academy, we value professionalism, respect, and consistency in our teaching and scheduling. These guidelines help ensure that every student receives the best possible learning experience. 1. Booking Lessons Lessons are by appointment only and can be arranged directly with Brenton White via phone or email. Regular weekly lesson times are encouraged to support consistent progress and skill development. 2. Cancellations and Rescheduling If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full, except in the case of emergencies. If the teacher needs to cancel a lesson, you will always be offered a make-up lesson or a full credit. 3. Lesson Locations and Rates Lessons are offered in Fitzroy or at your home within surrounding Melbourne suburbs. Travel time and distance are factored into pricing, so in-home lesson rates may differ from studio rates. Details can be discussed during booking. 4. Payments Payments are due at the time of the lesson or in advance if you prefer to pay by term. Accepted methods include cash, bank transfer, or another agreed method. Receipts can be provided upon request. 5. Missed Lessons Missed lessons without notice are considered forfeited. Regular attendance is encouraged to maintain progress and continuity in learning. 6. Punctuality and Materials Students are expected to arrive on time and bring all required materials, including music books, notebooks, and any assigned pieces. Extra time cannot be added to lessons that begin late. 7. Consistency and Commitment Learning music is most rewarding when approached with patience and regular practice.
